A woman was booked on two charges after Chandler police accused her of ramming a police car with her vehicle and attempting to run over an officer Monday afternoon, police said.
Enriqutta Martha Herrera, 33, was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault and unlawful flight, said Sgt. Daniel Mejia, a Chandler Police Department spokesman.
Herrera initially was reported as a possible impaired driver by a bystander shortly after 1:45 p.m., Mejia said. A Chandler police officer tried to conduct a traffic stop on Herrera, who was driving a blue Chrysler sedan, on Arizona Avenue and Chandler Heights Road, Mejia said.
