Police say a Buckeye woman who admitted to fatally stabbing her 5-month-old son claimed to be possessed and not in control of her actions, court records show.
Andrea Portillo, 29, is accused of second-degree murder and child abuse in the death of her infant son. Buckeye police say that mental illness played a role in the crime, according to records filed in Maricopa County Superior Court.
